The partial wifi connection as 'public' seemed to clearly show an issue with authentication, but not an obvious cause. ![]() The only temporary solution I had up to this point was to disable and re-enable the wifi device per session, which at least allowed me to connect to the internet. I've been battling a similar sounding problem for a few days, tried every hack I could find on the internet, resetting the access point(s), updating drivers, older drivers/newer drivers, Microsoft drivers/Broadcom drivers, command line hacks to reset tcp etc, nothing worked.
